Emma Mierop is a 28 year old self taught machine embroidery artist, doll maker and illustrator based in the NJ/NYC area.
Emma has worked at Parcel, a specialty packaging and correspondence shop in Montclair, N.J., for nearly a decade as a shop manager and visual merchandiser.
Several years ago, outside of the shop, Emma created Skippy Cotton: an outlet for her love of textile artwork, vibrant characters and crude illustrations that strives to bring happiness and wonder to those who come across it.
Today, Emma is quite active with her base of private customers, wholesale accounts (both international and nation), participation in retail craft shows, and with online sales. She’s currently working on a new project (launching Spring 2021).
