Writer's Comfort Notebook

These minimalist hand bound notebooks from Japan are my notebooks of preference for getting my ideas and sketches out onto paper while on the go. 

It is coverless and designed to lay open flat for a more comfortable writing/drawing experience. Pictured you will see that without the wrap, the covers of these notebooks are completely blank, showing off their beautiful texture of the cover and binding.

These features give the writer's comfort notebook an iconic design where you can see the mesh on the spine, called super, that is hidden under the cover in other notebooks.

The exposed super spine bends easily, keeping the notebook open perfectly.

These books are available in two sizes, both with smooth, soft blank pages- the blank type offers the ultimate freedom when putting your ideas on paper. You can even use the two-page spread as a single canvas when drawing.
